Calling from Campus Phones
All campus phone numbers can be dialed direct from any on-campus phone by just using the last 4 digits. The number for any member of the staff or faculty can be found in the online campus directory at the bottom of any website page.
An “outside” line to call local off-campus numbers can be accessed by dialing a 9, then dial the full local number.
The vast majority of phones provided to faculty and staff, and in open areas, are IP (Internet Protocol) phones. These are quickly replacing the so-called POTS (plain old telephone system) analog phones which are no longer well-supported.
If you use an IP phone, it will most likely be one of the models below. The model number should be printed on the top of the phone.
5312 / 5224
These phones are basically the same, with the only difference being the number of programmable keys on the front of the phone.
Below is a template you can fill in and print out to insert into the front of the phone.
