Students now have the ability to install Office 365 on up to 5 devices for free! The process has been made very simple and on screen instructions are easy to follow. Please review the instructions below to help you get started.
1. Start by entering https://portal.office.com into any web browser. This will take you to the Office 365 sign in page.
A. Use your Austin College email address and password to sign in.
B. If using a public computer, we recommend not checking the ‘Keep me signed in‘ box.
C. Once your username and password are entered, please click ‘Sign in.‘
D. ‘Can’t access your account‘ option will not reset your password – It will redirect you to contact the Help Desk.
2. Now that you have successfully signed in, you are ready to install the Office applications.
A. Single click the Install Now icon to download and install Office 2013 for Windows or Office 2011 for Macs.
B. From an iPad/iPhone/Android device you will still access your Office 365 account through a web browser and from here it will direct you to the App Store to download your apps for free.
C. For Office Online you will click one of the title icons and it will load in a different tab within your web browser, giving you full functionality for the app.
