Web Mail Password Reset – log into https://mail.austincollege.edu/. In the top right of the page, next to your name, click on the gear icon, then select Change Password from the menu.
Account Locked after Password Entry Mistakes
If the password for an account is entered incorrectly 5 times in 5 minutes, that account is locked for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes has expired, the account is unlocked and can be logged into. This helps prevent an automated ‘brute force attack’ on your account using a list of specific or random passwords.
Responsibility for Your Password
Passwords for individual accounts are the responsibility of the account owner. Passwords should be protected and not shared with anyone or stored in a way where others can easily access.
